SportScheck increases turnover by 6 percent

According to preliminary figures, SportScheck, Germany’s leading specialty sporting goods retail chain, increased its turnover in the financial year 2011-12 ended Feb. 29 by 6 percent to €408 million after VAT. The retailer, which is a subsidiary of Otto Group, intends to increasing its store network to a total of 18 doors by 2014 by opening new locations in the downtown areas of Düsseldorf and Kassel. With these two new stores, Scheck will have a total selling surface of 66,000 square meters.
