Adidas has to pay for delayed deliveries to the Russian army, reports say

According to media reports in Die Welt and Iswestija, leading newspapers in Germany and Russia respectively, Adidas has to pay some 200,000 Russian rubles (€5,200) for delayed deliveries to the Russian army. Apparently, the Russian army had demanded RUB 115 million, but a court in the country lowered the fine significantly. Reportedly, the German company won a bid to supply 100,000 training suits and appropriate shoes in 2010, but did not deliver on time.
