Vans has signed a three-year agreement to support the US Open of Surfing, including a title sponsorship. Described as the summer’s biggest U.S. youth culture festival, the nine-day event has been drawing up to one million people. This year it will be held in Huntington Beach from July 20. The deal was signed with International Management Group (IMG), the company that produces the action sports extravaganza. Last year’s edition of the US Open of Surfing was supported by Converse, Nike and Hurley, among others.
