German outdoor lobby group welcomes three new heavy weights

The Fachgruppe Outdoor, the outdoor committee within the Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel-Industrie (BSI), the German lobby group for the sporting goods industry, now  has 40 members. The latest brands to join the federation are no small players: Jack Wolfskin, the German outdoor brand, Keen, the U.S. footwear company via its regional subsidiary, and Icebreaker, the specialty brand of Merino wool products from New Zealand. Altogether, BSI has some 150 members of which now 40 are part of the outdoor committee.
