This year’s European Outdoor Summit (EOS), held in Tegernsee, Germany, from Oct. 15-16, has added two additional presentations – on the German and European outdoor market and on consumer behavior.
General-secretary of the European Outdoor Group (EOG), Mark Held, will be presenting data and hard facts on the current situation in the outdoor business. His presentation “Overview of the European Outdoor Market in Central Europe” is based on the EOG’s “State of Trade” report.
Christoph Krauss, founder and general manager of consultancy firm Benchex (“Benchmarking Excellence”), will be talking about “Consumer Decision Journeys in the Outdoor Market – from insights to action”. Krauss’ company is specialized in insight driven marketing and sales processes. In 2013, Benchex conducted a survey of buying habits among more than 1,000 German consumers. The results are presented by ISPO ACADEMY.
