Sprungbrett is a talent scouting series founded by snowboard Olympic champion Nicola Thost. At five different stops throughout the winter Nicola will bring together young snowboarders between the ages of six and 15 and guide them on their way to becoming a snowboard pro.
Thanks to professional coaching Sprungbrett prepares young riders in a fun way to what is expected of a snowboard pro. As well as Nicola Thost the participants will be training with motivated pros and coaches.
Everyone that loves freestyle snowboarding and dreams of becoming a snowboard pro can participate in Sprungbrett. However, there are only 25 spots at each stop so interested riders should sign up early at the Pleasure Magazine website.
The first stop of the tour already happened on November 30 at Kaunertal, Austria, and was a great success.
“It’s great to see how many young kids are snowboarding; the kids between six and ten learn so much when riding with their peers. I’m already really curious what else we’ll see this winter”,
says founder and Olympic champion Nicola Thost.
