Airesis, the holding company behind Le Coq Sportif, has agreed to acquire a 92 percent stake in Movement, a high-end Swiss ski manufacturer. No financial details have been disclosed. Most recently, annual sales of Movement were around 15 million Swiss francs (€14.5 million).
The deal not only involves the Movement brand itself, but also the company’s distribution arm – Casoar. It was said that Casoar would help Le Coq Sportif to better penetrate the Swiss market. Casoar handles the Swiss distribution of a wide range of outdoor, snow sports and fashion brands, including Beal, Asolo, Grivel, Houdini, Fizan and 8848 Altitude.
