SGN Sportia, the big specialty retailer from Finland, has decided to join the ranks of Sport 2000 International, the European buying group of sporting goods shops. At this point, SGN runs 56 points of sale around the country.
Simultaneously, Team Sportia of Sweden becomes part of the international family of sporting goods retailers. The group, in which the Finnish counterpart holds a majority stake, operates 105 sales points in Sweden.

The two retailers have a combined annual turnover of 278 million. In future, their respective stores will be co-branded both with the national logo and the “Partner of Sport 2000” tag. With this latest move, Sport 2000 International now fully covers the continental territory of the Nordic region.
