EOG claims big success for its #itsgreatoutthere campaign

EWOS billboard in BrusselsAccording to the European Outdoor Group (EOG), its own contribution to the European Week of Sports, a consumer-oriented campaign named #itsgreautoutthere, was a big success. Outdoor was one of the four key topics during the Europe-wide initiative to raise the importance of sports and active lifestyles in the European Union in September.

Members of EOG donated outdoor gear worth more than €20,000 for the campaign which directly reached an estimated seven million people who could be tracked by the organizers. They think, however, that some 15-20 million consumers were aware of the initiative across Europe.
