The Carbon Skate Lab Ski, which is part of Salomon’s new S-Lab Collection, provides a professional cross-country feeling and makes new PBs possible. Development with top athletes
Salomon has come up with innovations like the Full-Carbon construction in collaboration with the world’s best Nordic athletes. Carbon material is not only used as a thin lay in this extremely light and solid construction. In order to improve the torsional stiffness the ski has been built using a specific braiding process. The result is a combination of minimum weight and maximum stiffness so that the ski does not twist during the powerful pushing phase.

Thanks to its low profile tip and tail the ski lays flat on the snow, guaranteeing precise guidance and exceptional gliding. Combined with the SNS Pilot binding system and the Carbon Skate Lab boot, which are both specifically designed for this ski, an athlete can benefit from excellent pressure distribution. This allows the Carbon Skate Lab Ski to transfer energy efficiently without losing power.
