Intersport Germany has now a third member of the executive board in charge of finances, logistics, controlling and IT. 39-year-old Hannes Rumer will take over his new role effective Dec. 1. The Austrian most recently served as managing director of Takko, a German price-driven retail chain of apparel where he steered finances, controlling and IT.
Kim Roether, chairman of the executive board took care of Rumer’s charges on an interim basis. He continues to be responsible for members, corporate strategy, communication, human resources and affiliated companies. The third member, Jochen Schnell, directs purchase, product development and marketing.
